Christina Aguilera may sign deal with Top Shop boss

Billionaire Philip Green may rope in singer Christina Aguilera to design a new collection for his fashion label TopShop .
The news might leave Aguilera’s old rival pop-singer Britney Spears green with envy.
Aguilera is expected to earn earn over USD 1 million per range that she will design for the Britain’s formost fashion range, Mirror reported.
Supermodel Kate Moss who also designed some successful collection for some time for TopShop will not be replaced and will continue designing her own range.
The 28-old singer will create her own additional lines alongside Kate’s.
“Sir Philip has started talks with Christina and hopes to sign a deal soon. She has visited his offices in London and they are thrashing out the details… Philip loves her style and believes she would add something new to TopShop. Christina is the blonde bombshell who is into pop whereas Kate is the rock chick and model,” a source told the paper. Aguilera is expected to appeal to a younger shopper than Kate.
Even 34-year-old Kate has created seven collections since she was signed by Green in May 2007.
The supermodel has recently signed a new deal with Green over USD 5 million a year, for three more years and she will be developing lingerie and accessories on top of her fashion collections.
