Well, Aguilera has been out of the headlines lately unlike Jessica Simpson. She typically manages to snag news about her music instead of gossip. Aguilera is in the news, and again, it is for her music.

Christina Aguilera is planning to put a Gothic twist on her new album by collaborating with synth-pop band Ladytron.

The Dirrty singer is a huge fan of the Liverpool quartet and invited them over to Los Angeles to work with her, reports the Daily Star.

Ladytron founder Daniel Hunt told the paper: “We first heard that we were one of Christina’s favourite bands last summer. We were chuffed.

Celebrity jeweler, Stephen Webster, debuted his new line of jewels yesterday in Beverly Hills, and Christina Aguilera decided there ‘ain’t no other man’ she’d rather peddle for.

“Stephen’s designs are little art sculptures, a perfect blend of traditional elegance and modern sexiness,” says Webster’s ice queen, Aguilera.

His pieces have attracted a blue-chip portfolio of other celebs like Cameron Diaz, Johnny Depp, Sir Elton John, Jay Z, Ozzy Osbourne, Nicholas Cage, Michael Stipe, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Pink and the doyenne of diamond divas, Elizabeth Taylor.

Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman took their son Max Liron, who just turned one, to Fred Segal in West Hollywood, CA.

Christina recently said that she has gone to Nicole Richie for some great mommy tips: “I didn’t know much about Nicole, but because our little ones are born one day apart and through mutual friends I’ve had the opportunity of getting to know her and I was blown away with how great of a mom she is.”
