It wasn’t that long ago that Christina Aguilera gave birth to son Max, now 10 months old, and now the Grammy Award-winning singer tells Usmagazine.com that his latest accomplishments are making her proud.

“He is so close to walking now, it’s crazy,” Aguilera told the Web site at the Target “A Night of Music” event in L.A. on Sunday.

“He is a mover and shaker,” Aguilera continues. “He is constantly moving, constantly banging on things. I don’t know what that means; maybe he is a drummer in the making, I don’t know. He is just so much fun and I have the best time with him. Every single day is a way for me to see life through brand new eyes. It really is an incredible thing for me every day.”

Christina Aguilera is married to music marketing executive Jordan Bratman. Although he’s in the music business, he didn’t use music to woo the famous singer. Instead, he used good old fashioned charm and romance.

Not only did he use charm to court her, but he employed it in abundance to get her to say “Yes” to his proposal.

“My husband proposed to me in Carmel, California,” Aguilera said. “He had me do this scavenger hunt…One clue led to another and then eventually to the ring.”

Being a gentleman really paid off for Bratman. The two have been married since 2002 and have one son together.

With their 10 ½-month-old babies born a day apart, it is only fitting that songstress Christina Aguilera would befriend Nicole Richie to not only share their first-time experiences as new mothers, but to seek advice — one celebrity mom to another!

The opportunity to meet each other presented itself after mutual friends introduced the pair and although Christina — mom to son Max Liron — admits that she “didn’t know much about Nicole” prior to the meeting, she was instantly “blown away with how great of a mom she is” to her daughter Harlow Winter Kate. Inspired by Nicole’s parenting skills, the 27-year-old singer shares she often looks to her new friend for tips!
